Here at Divine Interactions, we use holistic and evidence-based methods and skills learned through both the O.K. Corral Series and Equilateral Protocol for EA-EMDR to help bring more light and happiness back into your life. With a peaceful, natural, sensory rich environment, and the help of our horse friends, we invite you to a place of inner calm and mindfulness. By incorporating Equine- Assisted Philosophy principles and activities, we guide you back to your authentic self and help heal you from the inside out.
As a teen, Sam also experienced the healing power of horses, when her childhood horse, "Roxy", experienced a terrible accident breaking her leg and the complications that followed. As they healed together from their shared trauma, their bond grew, and eventually Roxy became one of the founding therapy horses of "the herd". Sam became a veterinarian technician after high school, and is now the owner of Boeser Equine, LLC, co-facilitating sessions as an Equine Specialist. With this opportunity, she has found the passion to help people through horses, just as her childhood horse always helped her.
Shanna experienced her first devastating loss as a young teenager when a tragic accident unexpectedly took the life of her 2 year old filly, "Hope". At that same time, Hope’s half-sister (later named "Divine"), was in need of mercy and love, but due to her own trauma, wouldn’t allow any humans near her. With a great deal of patience, perserverance, and vulnerability, Shanna eventually earned this wild eyed filly's trust, and their journey to helping one another heal began. It was in this life-altering season that Shanna had her firsthand experience with the mental health benefits of meaningful interactions with horses, and why she is now eager to share that gift with those she serves.

I am a National Certified Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University. I am Level II Certified through the Natural Lifemanship Institute in equine-assisted services, an approach grounded in neurobiology, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.
My work focuses on helping individuals explore how life experiences shape their wellbeing and their connection with themselves, others, and the world around them. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches—including experiential methods, the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), play therapy, mindfulness practices, and attachment-based interventions—and adapt them to meet each client’s developmental, relational, and contextual needs.
While I have experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and clients across the lifespan, my primary focus is supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating parent-child relationship challenges, adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and life transitions.
Outside of the counseling office, I live on a ranch with my husband, horses, and other farm animals. This connection to nature deeply influences my practice and reinforces my belief in the healing power of relationships, connection, and growth.
Having moved to the United States in 2011, I speak multiple languages and value working with individuals from diverse cultural, linguistic, and faith backgrounds. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and growth.
